Pick the closest match. Every repair starts with a check, because a symptom doesn't always mean the part you'd expect.
Every iPad has a model number that starts with A and four digits, like A2602. It tells us the exact generation, which decides the parts and the price. We never need your serial number, Apple ID or passcode.
Where's your A number?
Open Settings, General, About. Next to Model Number you'll see a code like MK2K3B/A. Tap it once and it changes to the A number.
On many iPads it's in the small print near the bottom of the back. Not every iPad has it there, so if you can't see it, try Settings or the charging port.
On some newer iPads it's printed inside the charging port. Shine a bright light in and look closely. Please don't push anything into the port.
Screen too smashed to use? Try the back or the port, check the original box, or just bring it in and we'll identify it for you.

Models released after that may be missing; message us and we'll check. Knowing your model doesn't confirm we have the part in stock. We no longer repair the original iPad, iPad 2, 3 and 4, the first iPad Air or iPad mini 1 to 3.
On a standard iPad, from the 5th to the 10th generation, the touch glass and the display are two separate layers. If only the glass is cracked and the picture underneath is clean, we can replace just the glass. That's why a 9th generation glass repair is £59 rather than £119.
On iPad Air, mini and Pro, the glass and display are bonded into one unit. If that display still works, we can refurbish it: the cracked glass is separated off and new glass bonded on, so your original Apple display stays in place. From £80 on a mini 5 or Pro 10.5 inch. If the display is damaged too, the whole screen is replaced.

The iPad most schools and families have. Cracked glass with a clean picture is usually a glass only repair.
Thin and laminated. If the display still works, glass refurb is the cheaper fix; if not, a full screen.
Small and dense inside. Glass refurb on mini 5 and 6 if the display works, otherwise a full screen.
Glass refurb is priced for most Pros. Full screens, from LCD on older Pros to OLED on the M4 and M5, are quoted by exact model.

Parts and labour included. Full screens are aftermarket; glass only and refurb keep your original display and need a working display underneath and take 3 to 5 days.

Glass refurb keeps your original display. On Air, mini and Pro it runs from £80 to £170, takes 3 to 5 days, and needs a working display. Air 2 and mini 4 refurbs are quoted.
Half the iPads we see for charging just need a new cable or a clean port. This saves you paying for a part you don't need.
Does it charge with a different cable and plug?
Does the plug sit loose, or only charge at an angle?
Does it show it's charging, but the percentage barely rises or it dies early?
We collect from Ruislip, Eastcote, Pinner, Northwood, Ickenham and Uxbridge, repair at our Ruislip workshop and bring it back. Got a few iPads at home? One collection takes several devices from the same household. We tell you the collection charge for your postcode first, and you pay for the repair when it comes back. If it can't be fixed, you only pay a small delivery charge.
Nearby: Uxbridge, Pinner, Northwood. Also on Apple: iPhone repairs and MacBook repairs.
Back up your iPad to iCloud or a computer first if you can. Repairs don't normally touch your data, but we can't guarantee it.
On a standard iPad, glass only is £59 for the 5th to 9th generation and £89 for the 10th; a full screen is £109 to £179. iPad Air screens are £119 to £199 and iPad mini screens £119 to £239. If the display still works, glass refurb on Air, mini and Pro keeps your original display, costs £80 to £170 and takes 3 to 5 days. Prices include parts and labour.
Look for the model number, an A followed by four digits, in the small print on the back. On some newer iPads it's inside the charging port, visible with a bright light. You can also check the original box, or bring the iPad in and we'll identify it.
Standard iPads from the 5th to the 10th generation have the touch glass and display as separate layers, so if only the glass is cracked we can replace just that. If the picture shows lines, black patches or colour bleeding, the display is damaged and a full screen is needed. Air, mini and Pro screens are bonded, but if the display still works we can refurbish the glass, from £80.
Glass only repairs take 3 to 5 days. For full screens, batteries and charging ports, we tell you the time when we quote, because it depends on whether the part for your exact model is in stock.
Yes. If you're searching for iPad screen repair near me in Uxbridge, Ickenham, Eastcote, Pinner or Northwood, we collect from HA4, HA5, HA6 and UB8 to UB11 by appointment. Send your postcode and we'll quote the collection charge first.
Screen, battery and charging repairs don't normally affect your data, but no repair can guarantee it, so back up to iCloud or a computer first if the iPad still works. We never ask for your Apple ID password.
Full screen replacements are aftermarket. With glass only and glass refurb repairs, only the glass is replaced, so your original display stays. Either way we test touch, display and charging before your iPad goes back. We're an independent repair shop, not an Apple authorised service provider.
It depends on the model and the fault, and we'll tell you honestly when we quote. We no longer repair the original iPad, iPad 2 to 4, the first iPad Air or iPad mini 1 to 3. If repair doesn't make sense and your iPad still works, we may buy it.
Every repair has a 3 month warranty on parts and labour. If we can't fix it, there's no charge for the repair.
Opens WhatsApp with your details filled in, or book online and we'll call you.
