The Galaxy A03s refines the base A03 with two meaningful upgrades: a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, and a triple rear camera (13MP main, 2MP depth, 2MP macro). The 6.5-inch PLS LCD screen and 5000mAh battery are shared with the A03, keeping the same strong fundamentals. When the screen cracks or loses touch sensitivity, replacement at £45 restores the original PLS LCD quality — and importantly, the side fingerprint sensor is a separate component from the screen, so it does not need re-programming or re-registration after a screen swap.
A notable difference from the A03 is the A03s's use of Micro-USB charging. While the standard A03 and most newer Samsung models use USB-C, the A03s retained Micro-USB — making it important to use the correct replacement port during repairs. Micro-USB sockets can wear out through repeated plugging, especially if cables are inserted at an angle. Charging port replacement costs £29 and is completed same day.
