Its 6.5-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display delivers the smoothest LCD-free visuals in the A-series at its price point — the 120Hz rate makes scrolling and gaming considerably more fluid than the 90Hz panel in the A33 5G. A cracked or non-responsive screen can be replaced from £85 with a standard 120Hz AMOLED panel, or from £109 with an original Samsung OEM unit.
The A53 5G's 64MP quad camera captures noticeably more detail than the A33 5G's 48MP system, and it includes an improved optical image stabilisation on the main lens. If the camera module or lens cover has been damaged, repair starts from £49. The phone's IP67 water resistance also means that screen replacements require careful adhesive application during reassembly — we use appropriate sealant to restore the water-resistance rating as closely as possible after the repair.
