Cracked your iPhone screen? You're not alone. It's one of the most common repairs we carry out at our shop on Ruislip High Street. The good news is that a screen replacement is usually quick, affordable and much cheaper than buying a new phone.
In this guide we'll break down the typical cost for each iPhone model, what the repair includes, and what you should watch out for when choosing a repair shop.
iPhone Screen Repair Price Guide (Ruislip, 2025)
Prices vary depending on the iPhone model and whether it uses an LCD or OLED display. Newer models with OLED screens cost more to repair because the parts are more expensive.

| iPhone 11 Pro / Pro Max | OLED | £90 £130 |
| iPhone 12 / 12 Mini | OLED | £80 £110 |
| iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max | OLED | £100 £140 |
| iPhone 13 / 13 Mini | OLED | £90 £120 |
| iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max | OLED | £110 £150 |
| iPhone 14 / 14 Plus | OLED | £100 £130 |
| iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max | OLED | £130 £170 |

What's Included in the Repair Price?
When you bring your iPhone in for a screen repair at Tech Fix and Trade, the price includes:
- Full screen replacement (digitiser + display assembly)
- Fitting and testing by an experienced technician
- Face ID and touch functionality checks post-repair
- A warranty on parts and labour
We do not charge extra for labour on top of parts. The price you're quoted is the price you pay.
How Long Does an iPhone Screen Repair Take?
Most iPhone screen replacements are completed within 30 to 60 minutes while you wait. For popular models we generally keep parts in stock. If your model is less common we may need to order the part in, and we'll always let you know upfront.
Should You Use Apple or a Local Repair Shop?
Apple's own repair service (via Apple Store or authorised service providers) is one option, but it is usually significantly more expensive, sometimes two to three times the cost of an independent repair. Apple will also often decline to repair devices with previous third-party repairs on them.
At Tech Fix and Trade we use quality parts and our work comes with a warranty. For most customers the savings are substantial and the results are just as good.
Does a Cracked Screen Affect Face ID?
A cracked screen does not usually affect Face ID on its own. Face ID relies on sensors in the top notch, not the screen glass itself. However, if the crack has damaged the display assembly, Face ID may stop working. This is more common with severe drops. We always test Face ID before and after every repair.
